Co-Op K9 aspires to work with you and your family to achieve the goals of having a cooperative canine.
We believe the success of your family pet comes from not just the help of your trainer but also an active relationship between you and your dog.
We want you and your pup to safely explore a life of confidence, fun, and freedom and we firmly believe that is possible with our training programs! Each and every day Co-Op K9 continues to advocate for dogs and their owners, so we want to help you make the right choice for your pet's life! With the proper leadership, structure, and consistency, we know this co-operation will be nothing short of successful!
OUR STORY
Megan has always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. She also has a passion for rescues!
Her first dog, Boomer, was a rescue from Guilford County Animal Shelter and needed more structure and training than what Megan could offer at the time, so she reached out to a local trainer for some help. It was soon evident she was a natural and quickly picked up on all things training. She realized she enjoyed everything about it;
the structure, the bonding, the problem solving; it was all very much like therapy for her.
She spent five years working with other training companies learning as much as she could but it wasn't until she went to a training seminar, hosted by Solid K9 Training, that she realized she wanted to pursue opening her own small business. After getting the affirmation she needed from other trainers, clients, and peers she decided to
pull the trigger on launching Co-Op K9; a plan she had always played around with in her head,
never thinking she would bring it to life but now she has!
